you already get bombed with crownstore stuff when you log into a char, and thats enough ...IMO its already too much, an Update when something new comes to crownstore okey...but not every time when I loggin, thats just too much IMO.

It doesn't work that way. ZOS has alreay a fixed budget for development. Extra money goes to CEOs and shareholders. This two groups are in constant demand of money, and probably are the cause of the game's state and heavy monetization.13 -

As mentioned above, the cash would likely not go towards ESO's development. Whilst none of use can speak for the exact workings of Zenimax it's very doubtful that the money ESO is making is all going back into the game.Since there are many (too) loading screens why not add something useful. An ad will help Zenimax get cash and make the wait feel shorter for us. A win/win situation.

But with ads Zenimax will be able to get fixed cash much more important than with subs. 13€ sub per player or 10 ads per day per player. This is like 300 ads per month, it's less than 0.05€ per ad to get full month sub per player.
This also concerns those who don't pay for monthly sub so much more money for Zenimax.
If you like the game you should support this idea.

Except that money wouldn't be going back into the game. Execs/investors gotta get paid and they've been diverting resources into other projects.

I also rarely buy their games on launch any more because I don't see the value in their games, just wait six months for the next Steam sale and pick them up at a massively reduced price.
I can't say I trust Bethesda with the Starfield release after what they pulled with FO76. I think I can live without playing it at launch and wait for their two week later sale.

there is an addon that blocks it if you are on pc of course. console users must suffer1
