Not Getting Emperor

So today i've worked hard for my first emperor run, i'm first on the leaderboard and we took all the keeps but i'm not getting the emperorship...

Honestly i don't think i will be able to do this another time and i just want my archivement....
@ZOS_GinaBruno can i hope to get at least the archivement or i need to do everything again (i dont want to... it has costed me 7h of my and my guildmates life)?

Well we can just add that to the bug list I guess.

I hope they give you the achievement for it because thats ridiculous and with the amount of the same people constantly swapping emperor around (either intentionally or unintentionally - still happens through friends in other factions) its near impossible for people outside of those groups to obtain emperor on any active campaign, much easier on dead campaigns but yeah.

Did someone in your alliance abdicate? If so, you have to lose all the keeps and then regain them in order to gain Emperorship.

But if you did gain all of them, it should have worked.

Did you flip them ALL to a different colour BEFORE you took them? Otherwise it

Only 7 hours?

I had to stay in 1st place for 7 days to finally get my 1st Empress Title. The 2nd one was a 3 week battle going from 1st to 2nd place and back and forth, before I finally got it.

7 hours is nothing.

I only play on the hardest campaigns and both Empress Titles came during all 3 alliances being locked.

So, keep at it and you'll get it.

ZOS won't give you the achievement retroactive. I had a similar issue a while back and opened a ticket (in my case I didn't get it due to a bugged campaign) but the responses I got was basically that they won't give you any achievements afterwards, no matter the reason you didn't get it. So stay on top of that leader board and make sure to lose all emperor keeps before retaking them.

The player who had emp before you got 1st place was DC and he left the campaign. AD or EP never flipped any of the inner keeps after that so you won't get the crown until the former emp is officially dethroned even though he's not on the campaign anymore

I love the names of the other players on that leaderboard. Especially number 5, it's hilarious.

Which server was this? If it was NA, I'm not sure if the map ever registered all of the emp ring going to DC at any point, and I was in and out of Cyrodiil on Yolnahkriin quite a bit yesterday. Whether it properly registered the keep takeover or not is beyond my ability to say. A short run of seven hours leaves little time to get everything in place.

Give us all the details, did DC already have Emp? Or did someone abdicate?

To get emp you need to flip the map back from another alliance.

You don't get it by just getting top
Nor from retaking a few keeps to complete the ring

Also funny that the 7day campaign is still the emp trading/flipping campaign but sure faction locks made so much sense on the 30d campaigns ...

Well, as you look into it, hand me my emp title for no specific reason as well.

Maybe the game judged you not worthy? Can you actually PvP? Did you have a lot of friends help you. Did you t-bag someone who did not deserve it? Did the walls think your repair treatments too rough and lacking in love? Could be a lot of things.

I hope you read all the other comments and update the OP.

DC must not have had all keeps flipped to another color and being officially "dethroned".

In order to "reset" the title, all inner castles need to be taken. If the current Emperor leaves the campaign and drops being the Emperor, this does not reset the title achievement. You still need to have all the inner castles taken. So I hate when players do this on my alliance. Other alliances can do it but let me keep my health buff.

Unless you have proof all inner castles were lost and retaken, ZOS won't give you the title. Well, lets also be honest here, even if this were a glitch and fault on their end...they still wouldn't give you the title.

I’ve had this happen to me and ZOS said there’s nothing they can do. They won’t give you the title, achievement or costume. I was able to capture Emperor again with the help of some guild mates and it did work so the only way sadly is to try again.

relax dude, #1 was only 280k ap that is literally nothing just do it again lol. 280k is like not even 3 hours of pvp
