Nerf or remove Volendrung

Ok after 1month of chaos (yes zos, you got what you want it seems), now we can definitively say it's time to Nerf the way it works, or remove it.

Volendrung is only a tool for zerg. What is the point of such artefact ?
It could be a great idea but the way it works may be improved.
Whatever the faction revealing Volendrung, it will end up in the hands of the biggest zerg.

What I am suggesting :

• volendrung should not appear near keeps of the dominant faction
• Volendrung should not appear when 2 non-dominant factions have a low pop. It's stupid but obvious, because even if we have volendrung, we will lose it immediately if we're not in the biggest zerg.

I have seen zergs with Voli getting wiped out in no time at all by "basic" zergs and/or even smaller groups.
It might give a small advantage but it lasts only for 10-20 min and then all is back to normal. Cyro really needed that kind of "surprise" element that mixes the zone up a bit.
I hope that soon there will come more/other artifacts that give the Alliances an "unfair" advantage

I personally like the addiction of the hammer. It adds something different and exciting to Cyrodiil. Chaos if you will, that is the point. Sure things may not go your way but it is still a good addition IMO.
Keep the hammer. Don't change anything.

They should tie it to how many keeps your faction controls. If you control 12 of the 18 keeps you cannot pick up the artifact. if you have the artifact and take 12 keeps you should immediately drop it and have it spawn instantly somewhere else on the map.

Using it to flip them entire map or using it when you already have the entire map does absolutely nothing to promote competitive game play.

And yes, the artifact needs some scaling back but please do not fully remove it or nerf it.....offers something different and new to the PvP realm.

You know how Volendrung works, right? Those maps you’ve displayed there? The dominant faction won’t be able to do much with that hammer. It feeds off AP. No keeps to capture, no AP. No point, really, in even picking it up. It’s not like it’s going to help them — they’ve already captured the entire map.

It does suck when Volendrung negates a few hours of work in minutes, but it’s temporary.

I’m okay with Volendrung as it is. The only thing I would change is its spawn location. Either make it spawn closest to the alliance that has the fewest keeps captured, or make it spawn closer to the centre of the map. A mad rush to the centre would be pretty fun, now that I think of it...

It would be nice if it only spawned if all 3 factions are at 3 bars or locked. Less likely to pvdoor.

Yes, the dominant faction can only do 1 thing : keep the pressure to the other factions.
That's why it's useless and needs to be changed. It brokes PVP and make ppl ragequit

I try to stay away from it since the game is always super laggy when I'm near it. All the zerglings trying to be the next one to hold it.

I’ve had it appear exactly twice when I was online. Once the guy was defeated in a manner of moments and the other time someone held onto it for about 45 minutes.

It’s an agent of chaos that only pops up like every 5 hours. It’s fun. Let’s have fun.
