Hey all

I would like to promote my new class discussion discord a bit.

This discord is a place to exchange ideas about class skills and passives, meta and fun builds and also to exchange opinions and have constructive discussions. You all are welcome to join, if you are interested into discussing and exchanging about all classes and the whole game. I would love to welcome people from every content: progress raiding and end content such as trials and arenas on hardmodes, but also I like to invite various people from PvP, from solo players and small scalers to organized PvP-group players.

Not only should this discord be a place to discuss all kind of content and gamestyles, but it also should be a platform for newer players to learn from the more experienced seasoned players. So also new players are welcome if they seek help in builds, rotations and mechanics they are challenged with.

Currently the discord has already almost 1000 members mostly back from the time we had the class representative discords, but I appreciate if we get even more people into this server to make it a living place for everyone interested in contributing by seeking help or trying to support others.

Ah you got me with the swiss pun^^

Anyway I hope I can encourage as many people as possible to join this discord server. Many people are already there helping out each other with questions and problems and try to support other people with their ingame problems. I think it is a big opportunity for everyone.

But my Warden and Necro folks should join it. Not much discussion at the moment. You can also join the Frost Discord which is now specialised for warden and necromancer classes specifically.

Its not the best place for effective discussion. Live discussions on discord are much more effective and you can make calls to people you're talking to. Its much more organised.

Surely much more people have access to this forum, since discord requires another program and platform you have to join. But discord servers are much more interactive and living due to the chatty nature. People react much faster on questions and discussions and the discussions are more active due to the nature of the server. Also does discord include voice servers, so you can discuss issues more efficient than via the rather slow forum.

yeah, and it's much more organised into different class playstyle sections. you can get what you want much easier that way.

As said, this new discord server should serve as a big platform for everyone. During the last days many people already joined the server and started discussing. The server is organized into different content and into the classes with substructures regarding the content. So if you want to ask the people about a very specific topic, like magicka templar in PvP, there is a channel for that. If you have a stamina dd build or a new rotation, you can share it in the according channel for that.

Everyone is welcome to join, if you have questions to ask or ideas and guides to share. Currently many people interested into discussing the classes from the previous class rep discords are there, so knowledgable people willing to help. During the last days especially PvPers joined and I hope we see even more people (hopefully not only from the PvP content) joining our server.

Great idea, may even pull a lot of the toxicity of the forums away from getting active and positive discussions. However, in my opinion, what was possible one of the best MMO's out right now, this game is fading and lacking the ability to retain long-term interest from the consumerbase - largely in part due to ZOS's shareholders neglecting focus on areas of the MMO that actually matter to their customers.

ZOS continues to dilute, innefectively at that, new immersion of this game. The content they promote is as unique as the "new" mounts they introduce that are essentally just "reskinned" with a different color code. The Class system is broken and identities just keep being swapped from Class to Class. The skill lines are outdated, as well as the sets - as over 50% of them are unused.

Already said somewhere above: Discord is much more interactive and living. It is more likely to get a response on the discord server for questions than here.

People chat and discuss there all the time unlike on the forum here, where posts and answers are slow and responses to further questions even slower.
