Ilambris v Skoria - Magsorc

Which s best o a Mag Sorc and why, especially for PVP? On the face of it Skoria does more damage but Ilambris had the benefit of lightning damage

I use Skoria for PVP, Ilambris for PVE. The reason being is that players don't stand still for Ilambris to complete it's dot.

In PVP, you are better off with Skoria or mixing max stat pieces like Domi/Illambris. Skoria follows targets. But the max stat mix of monster helm boosts your overall damage and you aren't relying on an unreliable proc.

In PVE, Illambris is better for stationary fights and Skoria is better for mobile ones.

Illambris has some benefit in PVP, but it is really limited. Mostly if you are playing Flag games in BGs or if you are defending keeps. Anything that requires denial of entry since Illambris procs are stationary.
