Nightflame and Puncturing Sweep, to proc or not to proc

Having googled and found nothing to this regard, wondering if anyone on the forum knows if the Nightflame monsters set from Bogdan is procd by the self heal effect on Puncturing Sweep?

I assume it does but I also would like to know, does each of the 4 hits count as a chance for the set to proc, and if there are say, 20 enemies being hit, is that 80 chances to proc?

Because if it is, that 5% chance is looking a lot more like 20-80% in the right situations lol

Im not sure if it can proc on yourself, since the sets states "a friendly target" and not "you or a friandly target".

also not quite sure how the passive healing from jabs is classified, but dunno if that has an impact on the set proccing.

Wouldn't a friendly target also be yourself? I mean unless you're crazy and/or don't trust yourself, I don't see why not.

well it may also include yourself, althou there are other monstersets (like trollking for example) which clearly specify that it can procc on an ally or on yourself, which this set doesnt excatly say
so I would assume it either is once again inconsistent naming and texting, or more likely it doesnt procc on all "friendly" targets, maybe you yourself are excluded.
just like symphonie of blades sustain buff cannot procc on yourself

Nightflame can proc when healing from strife or siphoning strikes, so should be the same with puncturing.

It does proc.

1. It does proc on jabs. Only recently zos started to clarify tooltip of what "ally" is, so for all old sets "ally" means caster and friendly creatures.
2. It does multiply on amount of enemies hitted.
