Exploiter passive in PVP

I wonder if there is any point in putting 75 points into thaumaturge to unlock the exploiter passive (10% damage against off balance enemies) in PvP. I am talking from the perspective of a PvP magplar (lots of DoT) running toppling charge (it applies off balance for 5 seconds).

You can get 10% extra damage in other areas such as penetration, the magic damage passive, the light and heavy attack passive and the direct damage passive.

So many ways to have a 100% uptime on more damage so I personally wouldn’t recommend that unless you have a DoT build that can have people off balance regularly and even then I don’t think I’d do it

i would have 100 points in thaum with a magplar just so i could stab stab stab stab stab stab.... i would honestly put 100 in thaum, 100 in spell penetration and the leftover in elemental. Best part is. you can respec. so try it. then change it and try it. then choose whats best for you.

If you're not using 75 points in thaumaturge as a magplar with toppling charge and sweeps your build is a fail.

Of course. I always have toppling charge on and sweeps

Except for sweeps. Too laggy in Cyro for sweeps right now.

No reason to not put 75pts into therm if you are running toppling charge. The 10% extra dmg gives you a net gain that typically outweighs points allocated into other areas...
