i don't really have much else to add so i guess i'll just play a lightning round of contrived arguments against this that i can predict
"this isn't tf2 or cs:go or wow, this is the elder scrolls online: one tamriel unlimited elsweyr summerset morrowind electric boogaloo and being able to play cool animations while in first person view would ruin the unique gaming experience exclusive to this game, go and play (X)

If you want special first person animations only you can see, I don't see the harm.
A better request, in my opinion, would be having a first person mode that you could actually play well in first before I started to worry about animations.
But, that's just me...

✭✭✭This would be a good emote in general. In 1st person you could see your weapons without any enchant/poison effects added and see them from angles already existing in the game. In 3rd person it would be cool after killing anything to look at your weapons curiously. I could see it getting used in PvP, as well as after accidentally killing a centipede.
