Thought on Sanctuary Set for Guardian Templars

Just cruising the sets and found this, I know everyone says Transmutation, but what are the thoughts on this set?

I use this paired with Kags on my PvP Templar. It's great for group play really ups the survivability for the whole group, although I wouldn't recommend it for solo or pug play, in a well coordinated group it's really effective.

Why one of the other? I run trans and sanctuary in pvp and it’s a great combination. As a templar Blood Spawn or maybe pirate smelly for monster and you’re gtg.

Sure it helps. But it's a set that has its strength impacted once by battle spirit, then defile as well. It's also 10m which is only really effective for point defense.

Yea, it depends on your team.

If your team are all glass canon specs trying to use team mates as a shield then it’s not effective, no amount of healing will make them survivable enough to not be a liability. If your team are stam or stick together it’s solid.

Well, my teams so far as random BGs and Cyrodiil. My friends don't PvP (so can I really call them friends?) and I haven't found an active PvP guild yet.

When you run medium to large scale pvp sanctuary is one of those sets that are useful to have in group. I wouldn’t necessarily choose it prior to Trans, SPC/Olorime, or curse eater but it’s part of the puzzle.

In our standard group of 12 we run 3 healers (templar/warden), 1 support sorc, and 1 support magblade. Between them we have trans, spc/olorime, curse eater, worm cult (group is magicka heavy), and sanctuary.

It would be ok for battlegrounds, and maybe for some Cyrodil PvP, but, Cyrodil PVP that I engage in is very fluid and fast, with a lot of LOS--somethings work through a rock and around a tower, and somethings don't. With a couple classes being able to run all divines right now, having the extra crit resist ifrom trans is nice. Or also having extra damage is nice with SPC. I choose SPC over Olorime, again, because we move too fast and with a HOT I can keep SPC procced, and not have to be hugging my team.
