macsmooth✭✭✭✭If I had to guess it will be to fix the issues Elsweyr brought to a lot of people, I’m just glad it’s only 18gb and not 100gb but it could be 100gb for all I care just as long as it fixes the lag/frame rate issues and I can actually play the game and go see what Elsweyr is all about -

StolenEyes✭✭The reason the patch is so large is because on Xbox they don’t patch files, they replace them. So, to say fix a single line of code in a 2 GB file, they just replace the entire file.

Correct, “patches” on the XB1 are always horrendously huge, regardless of the game. -

Because I just loaded up the game and went to log in on my Warden Healer. After the expected "this may be an unusually long load time" message the game froze and crashed me back to Xbox dashboard.
So much for those crash fixes hey?

✭✭✭✭Yeah, I'm bummed at the size. It means I'm not going to play ESO until my monthly usage turns over because it will put me way too close to going over for comfort. Fortunately, the rollover happens in a few days, but still.I play ESO on XBOX NA

If the game was still in maintenance I wouldn't have been able to log in.
When I logged in to the game, it had the latest update notice on the main login screen, not the down for maintenance notice.

Comixfan✭✭✭Game on Xbox is still crashing randomly on initial character load.
I've just tried logging in twice so far today and each time it's crashed me back to dashboard after I choose which character I want to play.
So I don't know what crash fixes they've claimed to have fixed but they haven't fixed the only crash I've ever experienced with the game!

Comixfan✭✭✭Just tried logging in again and it's done the post-character select loading screen freeze & crash 4 times in a row now.
On the 5th attempt I get a message telling me this account is already logged in and it returns me to the main menu!
What the actual heck, ZOS?
