Hey i'm back to ESO and i was currious what DLC's are worth it.
i've played till the morrowind expansion and came back to do the clockwork dlc on my main. but i was curious what DLC's are good and which aren't really worth it.
the main DLC's im looking at at the moment is murkmire and the summerset isle's but i also dont have most of the dungeon DLC's. are these any good worth buying or just a pass?
With the dungeon DLC's i mean: Dragonbones, horns of the reach shadow of the hist, wolfhunter and wrathstone.

let me know what you guys think.

cheers

    Welcome back.

Ignor the bollox most of us moan about on this forum (including me!) this game still rocks hard.

Murkmire wasn't to my taste but summerset and the new one (im old shoot me) are well worth it.
Cant comment on the dungeon DLCs as im purely a soloer/Cyrodiil junky.

Be safe and seriously welcome back you wont regret it, there's some decent folks here.

Personally dungeon DLCs are my favorite and I think all are worth it, but I love 4 person content in this game so maybe a little biased.
I have not done much overworld questing since one Tamriel came out.
    Really it depends on you.
Do you enjoy dungeons? If so buy those DLCs
Do you enjoy trials? If so buy the DLCs that contain them.
Do you enjoy questing? I hear people praise quests in this game often(personally overworld is way to easy for me to really enjoy it in this game so I can't really comment on which DLCs contain the best quests) if so I am sure others can tell you which overworld questing is best.

So far I am very happy with the dlcs and expansions. They have been great. Bugs are a issue but as far as content the only dlc I would say I dont care for is wolfhunter

I enjoyed Summerset as well. With Summerset you also get the Jewellery crafting skill line if you like crafting. It also has some nice housing.

Ye i know the forums enough. i mainly play this MMO for the storylines and to pass time. Never really got into the repetative grind of the dungeons although i did all the main ones till the morrowind expansion at least 1x at every char on vet and normal. yet was wondering howmany people are still looking for gear out those dungeons and if they where needed for good gear.

btw how is the elsweyr expansion worth it or wait to buy?

Alot of the gear and monster sets are still used. They have adjusted some to make them more viable. Elsweyr I have really been enjoying. The storylines in most areas are amazing. If you play for the storylines then I would advise atleast elsweyr and summerset. Both are great. And dragons are fun. Like I said alittle buggy at the moment. But that will be fixed.

Yeah its really good and a well set out zone, me though im sad to say, i rushed it with my main (my catapult was calling me back to Cyrodiil) im running it again on a Necro and its better the second time around.

    Be safe

Summerset and the new Elsweyr chapter are downright essential. Very good storytelling. If you enjoy questing and the stories, it's easy to get lost in these.

I’d seriously just pay a month of ESO+ and dabble in them, if you really love one you can then buy it for alts.

This. It would be cheaper and more beneficial just to subscribe for a little while and see what you like.

    Depends on interest

I liked summerset story, the trial and culture of NPCs.

Exploring murkmire was fun but rewards of blackrose prison are bad..

Wrathstone dungeons are my favorite designs cause it tests lots of gamer skill. I smiled at my failures there.

I have to ask. Why? Why did you returned? Game performance is in a bad shape and there are bugs everywhere, but to answer your question.

My advice would be to buy ESO+ just for month. This would give you:
    A) an option to see every DLC in the game except of Elsweyr, so you could check it on your own what appeals you most.
    B) when buying ESO+ you get also 1650 crowns, which can be used later e.g. to buy some DLCs ;)

    It's a win win situation.

I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

As a relatively new player the quests and story lines in the DLC's are amazing. You really get attached to some of the NPC's and their stories. The writing is second to none. First game I've played that I actually laughed at some of the dialog.

Summerset is beautiful and I've made my home in Alinor. The Alinor townhouse is gorgeous and I fell in love with it before I started playing lol AND it's a very short ride to the wayshrine and the crafting area for writs.

I haven't been this happy and content playing a game since FFXI. Yes, there are bugs and issues but I'm still new enough to realize that all games have their problems and for me ESO has MANY more pros than cons, even with it's problem.

Welcome back, dive in, you won't regret it.
