It does not matter how many updates go past there seems to be 4 main things that can carry even the least skilled players to get easy kills and especially allow them to 1VX and those are bleeds (Masters and DW+2H axes), heavy armour proc damage sets (Fury, seventh, Ravaging), double damage poisons and lingering health potions. Magsorc pet builds are in their prime at the moment and stamblade just got removed from its top spot, however these others just seem to get ever so slightly dinged with the nerf hammer whilst other things seem to get pounded in to uselessness. The worst part is the bleed mechanic and fury benifit pvp exclusively, and the nerf to 1H weapon enchants was already useless in pvp as most players are running poisons anyway. It seems nothing is really competitive against a stamdk in fury+sevenths and bloodspawn, with masters bleeds, double damage health poisons and lingering health potions. Without these crutch items these would be essentially pve style tanks capable of putting out donut in terms of damage and have minimal ability to sustain but with these its a piece of cake for these 1v1 unkillable tanks to easily apply masters bleeds, drop 2 wrecking blows, dawnbreaker and execute even good players. This used to be about burst combos and fast play but now its shifted to this painful meta, where players are rewarded with procing insane weapon damage and ulti gain for specing in to not dying. Heavily riding the meta is not rewarding and rather boring but it seems its the only possible viable way to play so it appears Im off to find some cheese heavy armour and join in the tank play. I especially find it Ironic that pvp is full of tanks yet activity finding for a tank is the hardest role to fill.
