Decided to return to the game a couple months ago. Gave up due to the age old issue of download/game files being deleted and game beginning to redownload. I can't believe after all these years its still happening. Hit up google and its still a widespread problem. My download finished overnight, i hit play, fatal error. Hit repair and it deletes everything and starts over. I had files backed up just in case it did this, so I wouldn't lose all my download progress. Drop them in, attempt to pick up where i left off, bam, deletes them too, and starts over. In the end I had to uninstall everything for yet another attempt. This will be the last time. If it fails (and it almost certainly will), I'm done. For a game to have a massive issue like this year after year is ridiculous. I am sick of going through this, and wish I had never bought this game. Shame on Zenimax for not fixing this. Its absolutely ridiculous that it still happens in 2019.
