FPS issue

Hey everyone, when I first started playing my fps was at rougly constant at 100 fps on ultra settings. Now, roughly a month later, it's going from 30-50 on medium. I have a rtx 2080, 2600x, and 32gb ram, with the game installed on my m.2 drive. Is anyone else having this issue or have a solution?

Until ZoS is fixing this old problem, nope there is no fix. The only thing you can do is minimize it by lowering some Video options.

I expect you have left some stuff out like your overclocking as they are the only setups I have seen that do actually get 100 FPS consistently on ultra regardless of where they are at. Someone might get that sometimes but not all the time with less. Trials and active areas of PvP are places it often drops.

Several factors can affect your FPS. One factor is a memory leak. The game has typically had a memory leak after you have played for a bit and restarting the game clears it out. Some addons have had them as well and /reloadui cleans that out, at least mostly. I expect there are some addons that hinder FPS from the start. Not to mention anything else you have running in the background. Knew a player that would stream a show while playing the game and wondered why their performance was not great. lol

Well, I mostly have been doing quests, so it usually stayed right at 100 fps, it would drop if I got into pvp, which I expected, but I've had all the same addons since I've started and I actually stopped streaming the game, and the fps drop happened a few days ago. Maybe over the weekend?

I have a very high end system that has dropped 50% FPS. I can't even count how many ppl have the same problem in our guild and in the game I talk to. ESO definitely does have a problem that needs fixed for sure. This is not a isolated incidence. It is widespread.
