Mercenary mode?

I was thinking about 2 different modes. One which you can join any alliance with a friend(s) but you are locked to that alliance for the entirety of its duration. The second mode is solo mercanary which you will be assigned to whatever alliance has the lowest population. In doing so, you get some bonus perks such as increased ap/ bags/trans stones (whatever to make it worthwhile). First mode perks are being able to play with friends. I feel like this would really liven up pvp and add more complexity to it. Let me know what you think.
