Blood Fiend/Werewolf out of wack?

In-game tonight there are Full Moons which usually means Werewolf spawns, but tonight I find Blood Fiends instead. That's not all, one character gets infected with Vampirism while another character gets infected with Sanies Lupinus from the same Blood Fiends.
