✭✭✭Sadly, you can't gift houses.
However, if your wife is looking for houses that can be purchased with gold, you can use a workaround for those. You can find someone who wants to exchange gold for crowns, and gift them what they want in return for gold. You can then give your wife the gold which she can use to unlock gold-purchasable homes at least
