[PS4][NA] Document Satchel Drop Rate

I know, I know, RNG is RNG but ...

I collect furnishing plans. It's one of the things I'm really into. I don't have millions of gold to throw around on them, I have to grind them. My friend and I got a few document satchel drops over the first couple days farming dragons but yesterday we did maybe 30 between us and didn't get one satchel. Nothing but adventurer backpacks and the odd heavy sack. The amount of plans being flogged in zone chat dropped drastically as well, leading me to think that the drop rate for the entire server bottomed out.

Can this be looked into, please? I have not gotten one purple plan despite farming many dragons daily and looting every container everywhere I go. People are charging 200-300K per purple plan as well and that's prohibitively expensive.

I'm not saying we need to have them just handed to us, but the drop rate for satchels needs to be adjusted upwards, and the ratio of Elsweyr plans to plans from other zones needs to be adjusted as well. The only purples or blues I've gotten since release have been for other zones, not Elsweyr.

This one has noticed, although she travels on PC EU, that when the crowds are smaller earlier in the morning she more often gets the document satchels.

This one thinks one of two things may be possible:

There are only so many handed out per dragon, small crowd, better chance - or

You can only get so many on each apprentice within a certain timescale.

The second theory occurred to this one as she just logged in the little necromancer just once in the afternoon and she got a satchel and a purple.

Just theories based on things this one has noticed. Could be nothing.

You could be right. I'll have to do more farming this week and see if the lighter server load has any effect on drop rate.

My arthritic hands are tired, and my plan craving is as bad as for skooma though. haha
