The worst problem in PvP (PC/NA)

LoveForElderScrolls
Lag is the worst problem in pvp and It's not just me, it's a problem for everyone in all of my pvp guilds. When too many people play a certain campaign lag starts happening, all abilities stop working, you can't bar swap and when that happens you die and you have to stop playing the game. Other problems don't stop you from playing eso. Why would you tell your friends or family to play eso when the game doesn't even work.

They added necro to the game because everyone who role plays wanted one. This came with insanely laggy annimations and skills that don’t even work. I currently main a mag dk and STILL people roll dodge leap (??) it doesn’t even go off. Necro skills are invisible. My console is going to explode.

I think this is the worst I remember lag ever being, it is literally not playable. My favorite is cc break, toon just stands in place can't weapon swap or use abilities for a solid 5 sec after breaking cc.

Yep last night I would say in most fights I could no longer weapon swap... This meant no heals for me or purge :(

Horrid performance but ZoS knows how bad it is. I really do not think they can fix it since it due to abilites and how the game engine interact. They would have to change a ton of AOE abilites this would have a huge impact on PVE which is more of the bread and butter of the game.

So do you fix a minority of the game at the expense of the majority. I think its business, however I think they could have a real jewel of a PVP game here if they could better support it. There is nothing like it in the market.

Its damn near unplayable. I think the problem is the amount of players online at the same time. I'm considering taking a break from eso just because of extremely bad performance issues.

Cyrodil has been a lag fest since launch.

It boggles my mind how many people still log on to watch load screens and wait 5+seconds for every skill cast.

I don’t experience much lag until a certain alliance decides to bring their entire faction to take an outpost, and then I might as well just log off, which I’ve started doing. It’s just not worth the frustration.

Folks in my opinion, ZOS could care less about PvP and its problems. Their priority lies with PvE and has for some time. Look at the patch notes. Most fixes if not all relate to PvE.

The problems associated with PvP, that have been reported for years i.e. the lag, Combat Bug, Rubber Banding, Crashes, long load screens just continue to go unattended. Heck ZOS does not even respond to many of the threads complaining about the issues in Cyrodiil. Now a new bug has surfaced as of Mondays patch. The stealth/crouch bug that will not let you interface with anything in Cyrodiil unless you stand up. ZOS has not commented on that either. Why an I not surprised.
