Humor is based on story/situations where something hilarious and unexpected happens. Stating that Todd will protect FO76 is so obvious so I can't perceive that article as a satire, for me it looked like cheap way to get some extra views on hype of hate for FO76. That's why I called it BS, sorry it's just my opinion.

Why would the Onion even do something on this subject. It's not an onion anymore, it's a big smelly squash that's been left out for weeks on the editor's table. Stick with politics, that's they seem to be good at.

I saw the entire show and it was a few minutes of honest revealing of what Fallout was...and what it has become (NPCs coming which might get my attention).

It's an attempt at satire, but it just isn't very funny, imo. It's like a failed trolling attempt. Well, I guess it is hard to measure satire, you may find it really funny and what arguments do I have to counter that then.

Honestly I think Fallout 76 is going the same route as ESO, it had a terrible launch but is slowly shaping up to be a decent game. If they can nail the Wastelanders update Fallout 76 may just redeem its self.

@MartiniDaniels sorry my friend, you just have to accept that you were "got" by The Onion. it's a website where the entire point is to make fake news articles to catch people out into thinking they're real

The process of a game with a disastrous launch gradually improving is comparable across genres. But if you must be like that, take No Man's Sky as an example instead of ESO.

To be fair, ESO's launch wasn't near as bad as 76. I was there for both.

let's be real...Todd makes a lot of - lets say - factually inaccurate - statements...and he is also not really showing any regret or humility i would have expected...people really need to stop bethesda's outrageous recent decisions, statements and actions

If Bethesda had a soul and even an once of mercy they would pull the FO76 server plug and write it off as a learning experience.

The ESO luanch was no were near as bad as FO76 and ESO launced as a pretty good game TBH. It was just a little to hard for new casual gamers.

The FO76 stuff is just getting embarrasing.

That being said nice satire and on point.
