Why screw over alot of EU players on their holiday wanting to play the game? Can't you do it on tuesday?

    Because us non-part timers work Bank Holidays. Tuesday is my day off, so it works out perfect for me :)

    Maybe @Ravereth wants to chime in as in his online calendar it is a holiday in two countries only.

    It's national Holiday for us yes, but it depends from company to company. Most of us will work, some of our external staff will not because it's a holiday for their company. It's not holiday for everyone, and if it's not for EU zenimax, they don't have a reason not to do that on a Monday.

    Well, this maintenance gives players time to sleep after watching the Bethesda Livestream at 2:30 a.m. without missing out on gaming time, very nice. :D

    Come on guys, it's not a surprise they do patch and maintenance on Mondays. It's always been like this. Take 4-5ish hours so make some quality dinner, take a walk, play another game or watch a show. Yes it is annoying to have your day off go ''to waste'' because of patch day, but you know patches and maintenances always, or most of the time, are on Mondays anyways.

    or just find something else to do, not being able to play on your day off sucks but it is not the end of the world.

    Lol I've got summer vacation anyway, so this doesn't affect me in any way.
    Just means that I can use the time on something else other than ESO. Might be a surprise to some of you, but there is in fact more to this world than just ESO!

    I'll believe Britain is Brexiting when I see it happen. 2 years and the government hasn't made an inch of progress.

    As trolly as ZO$ has become.... I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't wish everyone a happy "whatever" holiday as they are announcing they are bringing down the servers. In fact, I wouldn't even be surprised if they announced (in joking) that the server time would take longer because they are celebrating "whatever" holiday. :D:D

    JK, its Whitmonday, the day after whitsun (pentecost)

    Ascension day (may 30) was Christ ascension to heaven, pentecost is his return in spirit to the disciples... Only primary Roman Catholic countries celebrate it. Which is why America and Britain (prodominantly protestant) don't.

    Us based company goes by us holidays. Ppl need to get over this matinence crud and move on. EVERY mmo has them its what allows patches to happen.
