Why Does My Skeletal Mage (Necromancer Summon) Have a Tail?

I just unlocked the Skeletal Mage summon on my Necromancer and it has a tail. Please don't tell me that this entire skill, including its morphs, is a khajiit-themed skill.

I haven't morphed it yet, but on the surface this skill reminds me of the Morrowind-themed Warden skills all over again. Just because Necromancer releases in the Elsweyr chapter it doesn't mean that any of the class skills need to be themed for that territory. I hate the idea of making class skills follow a narrow territory theme. Why should a Nord in the Rift be raising a dead cat every time he summons an undead minion?

It’s not spawned with tail EVERY time. I think it is supposed to have an equal chance of being any of 10 races. Cast it many times in a raw, and you will see different versions yourself.

However, ZoS seems to *** up with their rand()%10 code again, and tailed skeletons are summoned much more frequently.

Wasnt it bound to the region u cast it? Like in elsweyr u're gonna summon khajits, cuz most of corpses there are from cats?

Yeah it seems to be a cat or an argonian waaaay more than it should be. Imo should be either region based (makes most sense) or equal chance of each race, or somewhere in between. Not a *** ton of cats tho...

It should be 1/10 for Kajiit and 1/10 for Argonian mathematically speaking, and since the skeletons of the other races are relatively similar enough to be generally represented with a single skeleton model between them an 8/10 chance for a humanoid skeleton.
However, for simplicity of programming (or perhaps to not show any kind of racial prejudice) the chances are more likely just 1/3 for each type of skeleton to spawn.
Of course this doesn't properly reflect average population sizes, or population density by region, but really... it's a game :|

Since I'm pretty sure that different humanoid races use the same skeleton this is a very probable explanation.
