With such a huge conference like this, there are a lot of moving parts and a lot of people to cater to. All of the companies with press conferences have international followings. Bethesda likely had little to no say in their time slot, and because it's on the west coast all of the times are going to fit in with a PST schedule.
That being said, I would agree the requirements for Twitch drops are insensitive to followers in other time zones. It's not reasonable to expect players to watch the conference at 2:30 in the morning. Console players get a range of time they're able to sign it to the game- maybe a day long Bethesda stream on Twitch that you just have to watch 10 minutes of to get the drops? Something more flexible than a small span that ends up being unreasonable for players in other time zones.
Bah, you're complaining about having to stay awake until 2:30 AM on a weekend?
How do you think I feel, knowing that I have to go to work even on weekends with an uncertainty of when I'm working next week? I'm practically sitting here wondering if I should get my dad to turn the stream on, assuming he'll be awake at that time.

You mean two countries - Belgium and Portugal, correct?

@Ravereth what's more shocking is that apparently I have missed the birth of two new countries since last time I checked.
Also, that calendar is ridiculous, Monday is a national holiday here in the country where I work, that's not listed there, and my home country's most important national holiday (1st August) isn't even mentioned on that page.

Dude, don't be worried, there is always the time to learn about EU countries. You can always catch up.
And you talking about Whit Monday, right? Info from that "ridiculous" calendar.
And this calendar is not outdated. Check it again, or even twice, if you need to.

You yourself understood it as a holiday for only two countries. Or how am I to understand your post?

Cheezits94 wrote: »Why do you say it is two countries only if your calendar apparently lists more countries? Are you blind or just dumb?
My country has a national holiday on Monday and there is no arguing about that, it is a fact. That makes that dumb calendar wrong, easy as that.
