PS4 - in game UI disappeared and stuck

Yesterday I got a weird bug on PS4... I was checking candidates from the new guild search tool, and then suddenly my entire menu disappeared. I could not exit out of the menu pressing the Options button, but all my UI disappeared and couldn't use any ability. I couldn't even log out properly because the logout button wasn't there. I had to close the application altogether and restart for the UI to reappear. Also you couldn't have access to chat, so it was impossible to reloadui.
The game is in a poor state on PS4. Did Zenimax test it before release???? This is a great example as of why there should be a PTS for consoles...
