XBox frame rate issues Elsweyr.

Since the latest chapter, every time any mob appears or combat begins, frame rate gets really clunky. Huge stutter, and delayed impact of skills... Anyone else experiencing similar?

I get the dropped frame thing randomly when riding around on a mount but it usually goes away after a bit. Xbox One X/external SSD

Does this only happen in the new zone, or everywhere? If you're in the zone, then so is about half the population which is why you might be having this issue (especially if you're on WiFi).

Typically though (my experiences are also on X1) on patch week the severs get very laggy. I was tying to make some quick cash doing Skyreach runs on Tuesday when the expansion dropped and the lag/frame rate were horrific. Eventually I had to refund the clients money as we were just ice-skating while the mobs wouldn't take any damage and just reset themselves.

Yes, I am having the same issue, including in base game zones and at off peak times of the day. I was farming and fighting mobs in Craglorn yesterday and it was almost unplayable.

Yep it’s been really bad for me as most of the time I play Xbox streaming through windows 10 and soon as you move it’s really bad and fights I don’t even see what happened, I’ve decided to do fishing instead until they fix this and then I can experience Elsweyr

Streaming through W10 isn't reliable, even if you're all connected with Ethernet cables etc.

Frame rate drop was happening in Reapers March for me, among other places. Not just the new zone.

Lol trust me I had no issues with my setup before Elsweyr update, full HD hardwired network and now it’s bad in every zone even doing crafting writs is painful on collecting and dropping off writs

When I get to play straight from the box I can see the struggling in the game play

Same problems as well, even in off hours.

I’ve had a bit more choppiness and pop ins in places like Shadowfen than before, but if we were to compare this to ... say ... when Morrowind broke the game for about 6 weeks ... I’m ok. This isn’t even a top 5 bad patch.

Typical for a new patch. It’ll get better but this is normal at this point. Couple clean up patches and we will be back to 38fps

The game sadly has horrendously gotten worse performance wise. It is borderline unplayable since elsywer on Xbox. It seems zenimax's priority is with the crown store Instead of fixing what was one of the best games on console. I'll be gone soon at this rate and so will many others if things don't get fixed in the near future. ;( 18 characters on 2 servers cp 1300+. 😞 Rip

It's odd but check your vents, I clean my xb once a month and I notice an improvement in fps drop. Nit saying it will fix it but MANY ppl I talk to never maintain the pc or consoles.
