I think it's a fair assumption to make that NA players make up a majority of the player base and therefore these events should be hosted in an NA time-zone. I know it's not a perfect world, but in one they'd have this event going on multiple times throughout the day so that everyone could get them. But that's not feasible from a business standpoint (evaluating costs vs rewards).

If there was more NA players than EU players server issues would have appeared first on NA, that never was the case, so I don't think it's a fair assumption at all.
I think there would be no problem if they made such a stream between Saturday - Sunday rather than Sunday - MondayDonny_Vito wrote: »There is never going to be a happy medium for these events because it has to be hosted somewhere. Lets party and burn the place downThey aren't going to schedule a E3 conference/showcase to fit EU times when they are hosting it in the US, come on! Lets not go full Smurf in Cyrodiil.

You’d think a multi-million dollar company who flogs its increasingly dead donkey wares around the world might have come up with an intelligent way to involve their non-US playerbase.
Just as one idea, why not re-stream it with a slightly different intro for Europe and Asia at times that were more suitable for them.
But you’d have to care about your audience to be bothered to come up with something like that.

Watch the #BE3 showcase and ESO presentation from the comfort of your own home, and you can earn the Clouded Senche-Leopard mount and five Ouroboros Crown Crates, simply for tuning in!
When: Sunday, June 9, at 8:30PM EDT
Where: Twitch.tv/Bethesda
To earn your rewards for PC/Mac, simply watch the stream while logged in to your linked Twitch account. Reward delivery starts the morning of June 10, and continues for several hours after that.
If you are on console, you can earn your rewards by logging into the game on Sunday, June 9, between 3:00PM EDT and 11:00PM EDT and killing a single monster. You will receive your rewards by June 19.
Now i don't know about the rest of you guys in Europe, but i feel like I'm missing out there. For me in Greece, that's 3:30am. I have a job... I can't be waiting up till 3:30am to get rewards, that all console players get for just playing.
My question is, if they're only going to offer this at one point, that leaves a good portion of the planet unable to receive the same rewards. There's got to be a better way, right? Why not let, EU server players get rewards the same way as console players...

Next time a World Cup or even better the European Cup should be held at like 12:00am so for us people in North America can watch it at 6:00pm.
After all, where do the people think they are? I mean, how come you are inconveniencing the rest of the world? Like you original poster, we all work or need to sleep as well. So how dare you hold events at the wrong time for us?
After all, do you even now what time the event is being held at locally? Oh yeah, the time you are actually asking for if it was your time zone.
So, what are you complaining about? The event is being held at the time you suggested. So now people are complaining about what they ask for?
I mean sure, but some of us have our power bills to pay as well.Set up the stream whenever you go to bed, mute it if you need to, and just go to bed. You'll 'watch' the stream and get the reward. This is what I do every time Bethesda does something like this because I live in Norway and I also like to have a real life!
NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »For those that plan to set up the stream beforehand, don't mute it! If you mute it, it's a high chance it won't count. Just set the volume on very very low.
