It seems to me since Wrothgar was released, everything after has been smaller and rushed. Why can't you release a whole zone and not just part of it?

More money to be made when they split it all up. Feed on impulsive buyers who can't wait and will snatch up each when it arrives.

I guess, even though I don't like it.

Anequina IS a whole zone, its just not a whole province. Do you want zones to be horridly scaled? Just absolutely no. I dont want the entirety of Elsweyr to be the size of my backyard.

well...yes and no...maybe chapters got a bit smaller but i also think the quality overall has gone up to be honest.... and the releases are very frequent - which other mmo has that frequent quality releases? gw2 is another great mmo but you wait FOREVER for anyhting new to come out....

The price to content ratio in eso has become a bit worse tough i'd agree on that but mostly with regards to the crown store...here i think zos has become too greedy imo

we get another zone this year right?
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

There was a substantial content drought between Craglorn (Updates 1 & 4, May/September 2014) and the start of a regular content schedule with Imperial City (Update 7, August 2015).

I'll take the regular content. We'll get plenty of drought in the game's very last months.

Yea. It may not be the entire province but it's still a really big zone to explore.

Northern Elsweyr is a full zone though. In fact, it's probably the biggest PvE zone in the game.

Norther Elsweyr is bigger because this time you can actually explore mountains. :D
The landscape is bigger cause of that, but generally, I find quest time might be slightly shorter than previous "chapters"

I think we got pretty spoiled with how big Wrothgar was, and that it came as a DLC. If the exact same zone would be made today it would be a chapter of course.

If you think Elsweyr looks rushed now (I'm very happy with it) just think how it would look if they had to include Southern Elsweyr in the chapter too but still release it at the same time. The quality of everything in Northern Elsweyr - time spent creating new assets for cities, different furstocks, writing quests, would have to be split up to fill the Southern Half too.

There would also still be the same amount of delves, public dungeons, world bosses, and questing content as well since they go on a formula for that. Still 1 trial.

Northern Elsweyr cities would look identical to Southern Elsweyr cities because they would have to reuse a ton of assets to save time, the Tenmar would be reusing Valenwood assets exclusively, some cities would be destroyed or "don't exist yet" because they wouldn't have time to make them all. Would have large areas untraversable like Summerset mountains/Vvardenfell Red Mountain (Elsweyr chapter did a good job at making most of the land traversable unlike the last 2 chapters)

Suffice to say, while I am disappointed not all of Elsweyr is included, the South is still there to continue in future updates with good quality. If it were all rushed and done now, that would be it - no more Elsweyr/Khajiit content in the future, and it would be of very low quality because of having to be done all at once.

I'm quite satisfied with how Northern Elsweyr turned out though, and excited to see the Southern half whenever it gets released, whether part of it comes in Q4 of this year or later down the line. ESO may very well be the only TES game we ever get to see Elsweyr in besides player mods in single player games, so let's give ZOS time to do it justice.

Conspiracy theory much? They haven't split any zones up and sold different parts of them. Just because we got Northern Elsweyr is no indication that we'll get a Southern Elsweyr later, and even if we did, there's still no precedent for it like you're making it out to seem as though there is.

You also have to keep in mind that this entire year's releases are based around a single idea. We got the dungeon and Chapter releases, I believe the schedule they gave before was one Chapter, and either one zone DLC and two dungeon DLCs or two dungeon DLCs and one zone DLC every year, I can't remember the exact numbers. They COULD release more of Elsweyr as the zone DLC, but keep in mind that Wrathstone's dungeons aren't in Elsweyr. There's every chance we could end up in other parts of Tamriel as the year's story progresses.

I am thinking that southern Elsweyr will be included in this update when it is ready. After all, the expansion is just called Elsweyr, not Northern Elsweyr.
