i think its a good idea. but can this mean that chests on vet reward perfected gear now? i totally understand why they didnt before, because people walked in and pillaged chests and avoided bosses, but now that you have to kill bosses to see chests, can they drop perfected gear?

my raid teams always skips the chests because they didnt drop perfected gear, stopping for a heavy sack or two

Nope. they're chests. Perfected drops from bosses.

No that'd be too much and easy to obtain, IF however they made another chest type like "perfected chest" which only spawn after beating one or both bosses on hard mode, then sure that seems reasonable.

then my guild will continue not looting chests, because unperfected gear from a raid that drops perfected gear is kinda useless.

Exactly the same. We had several grinding runs yesterday and completely ignored chests. Idk what ZOS expected giving up non-perfected gear so freely, including epic jewelry.

well especially now since killing 2 bosses is required for chests to spawn, youd think itd be alright for them to drop perfected gear in veteran mode, but apparently not, i guess my bigbrain isnt big enough

Are you sure killing both dragons is required?? When I read the Patch notes, it states you had to Kill Yoln OR Loki, not both. So you just have to kill the one dragon to get the chests.

you may be right, but it still requires the death of a boss, which drops perfected gear, to unlock chests, that doesnt drop perfected gear

I don't mind the chests as is.. Maybe the could change it so that Master chests drop the perfected version of rings and weapons so that it is still relatively uncommon, even on a farm run, thus still making people put in the effort to get it.
