Musical Instruments

Lutes, harps, flutes, drums, trumpets.... we know they exist in this game. They are all over the place. Why on earth are they not available as housing items? Add them to the crown store, add them to the luxury furniture vendor, hide them behind an achievement wall if you must, but please give us access to them.

Yep... there are even more now with the Murkmire and Elsweyr instruments! I don't understand why they aren't available as furnishing yet... we got a pottery wheel for crying out loud! (no shade if anybody actually wanted that pottery wheel, just saying that there have been constant requests for instruments for years with nothing to show for it - except maybe that windup frog caller... really now... srsly)

Instruments, armours and weapons have been sorely missing from furnishings, even though there are tons of them in game! Archery targets, harps, lutes, wall-mounted weapon displays... there's even a new Elsweyr style weapon rack but no furnishings... Sad.

I would really love if they were playable too. To add more items we can interact with in housing. OMG and I would LOVE to have one of the dulcimers that are all over Elsweyr!

Yeah, would be nice to have musical instruments lying around.

Plus, you could make one of the front rooms in the Artaeum house into a music room.

Also, you know some people want a bard class?

Maybe they will introduce a musical instrument crafting profession, to go with that, at some point?

Then they could allow crafters to get plans and make instruments.

Or, they could just add it to the current crafts.

Woodworking has a relative lack of weapons/armour, as it is.

Personally, I would prefer a Mesmer, in terms of preferred class, but musical instrument crafting, as both "weapons" and furnishings, would be fun.

It's such a tease that we can actually steal a lute but it's just a treasure and not a furnishing item. C'mon ZOS.

Sleek Creek even has a pic of a lute, in the loading screen.

So, there must have been an intention to add them, at some point.

We really LOVE what new instruments have been added to Elsweyr, would be awesome to see in lux vendor/writ merchant/crown store! Also, we are BIG "tippers" aka spenders!

Bards were amazing in Ultima Online. You could basically run around provoking enemies to attack one another, and then swoop in to finish the fight!

Was looking all over for musical instruments as well, was kinda shocked to see there is very little in the hand held type. Would it be asking to much to get them added as housing items ZoS? Thank You.

It baffles me we still don't have instruments we see in game. Like lutes, harps, flutes, more drums, the Elsweyr ones, aswell as this dunmer instrument which can be found in several houses in Vvardenfell:
