Is the fungal grotto abuse//exploit/bug/feature fixed? More details inside.

I think I read it somewhere and I was so certain of it that I even went ahead and told my guildies. Then I tried finding a source and I couldn't. Tested it myself with 3 more guildies and it *seems* fixed. I didn't get my random rewards after porting to another dungeon.

Real question is, where did I read it before testing? Is this in the patch notes? I couldn't find it there. Nor could I find any posts here either.

I also found two posts on Reddit with other people that seemed to think the same I did but also failed to find official sources.

I'm just really curious to know where I got this idea from, since it seems to actually be true.

I'm glad this vitally terrible bug has been fixed. It was the most pressing issue in the game.

Loading screens in Cyro? No biggie. Stuck in combat forever? It's a piffling thing.

Yea, I think it is a good idea Zos did not post the fix in the patch notes. It is good that the pulled one on the exploiters to screw with them.

I understand how much it sucks when your group bails on you, but there were some of us out there who never randomly ported to FG, and also ran the regular random dungeons during a PUG, even if we had a 3 person majority in the group and could have done whatever we wanted.

The game will obviously live with the fix. I liked easing players into dungeons (any, not just FG) and although the bonus was a nice addition to their completion, it's not important. Idc about keys, crystals or xp. I'll still continue to encourage people to try things they may enjoy so they can complete their own goals. The loss of the port bonus is no big deal. There are other challanges besides FG. For those of you well atuned to the more difficult ones, we need more of you willing to teach and help future players learn. DLC dungeons are often abandoned by groups because of the difficulty, even on normal.
