Game won't accept mouse inputs after alt+tabing

As the title says, sometimes after I alt tab to check something else in my computer, I am completely unable to click anything in game, although keyboard commands such as pressing E to use items and such work.
Closing the game externally and relaunching it seems to fix it, but it happens often enough to bother me. Is there a workaround in game to this?

b101uk✭✭✭instead of using Alt +Tab, why not try pressing the windows key, which will open the start menu while pressed and minimise ESO.
else Alt + Enter to switch between full-screen and windowed mode, thus freeing up your curser that way.0
