Encounter logs question

Encounter logs has access to race/class info for each character. Is it possible for this info to be compiled either as part of the website or by a third party to get some legit statistics on what the landscape looks like in terms of race/class popularity?

Theoretically, yes.
Practically, though, many people will just use private logs, and those are inaccessible for statistics.
You'll also not catch the *many* people who don't upload anything.

Yeah, but I'd think it gives a gives a pretty decent slice of active dungeoneers.

Certainly way more accurate than anything we have now.

You would also have to account for duplicates. Assuming most people are going to be set to anonymous there's no way to know if you already counted someone or not.

Yeah ofc anonymous logs would have to be thrown out. But I still think there will be a sizeable number of people who will set a character to public for whatever reason- they're proud and want to share, maybe guild info, etc.
