PC EU PvP is dead, give up

You guys who done this should really stop caring about a game that is 8 out of 24 hours simply unplayable.
This has been the case for the past years and nothing will change let zenimax live in their imaginary world of "Population growth".

    But there will be VOLENDRUNG
Maybe they should have asked Valve about the luck and use of something called Artifact.

I am doing daily runs in Cyrodiil.

Where is this lag that you speak of?
I see no lag at all.

OK I am not playing at peak time (whatever that is) but I can see nothing wrong and I am playing on the EU Server to boot.

Prime Time is about 8pm. Thats where it gets real.

Dodgeroll and your skills wont work for 4+ seconds after the Dodge is completed.

Break free. Character does break free Animation, skills are still locked for the whole CC duration.

Pressing skills and they simply not firing Off.

    Players teleporting around.

Leaping into guards in the flag just to see the damage and kockback coming with 5 Seconds delay after Impact...

If ZOS would care they would communicate with us. Telling us what they currently do. What they trying to improve. But we only get a "we are investigating" every 2 years or so. And nothing gets done. It gets worse.

Sadly, ESO still has the best Massive 3 faction PVP ever... other games tried stuff like this but failed hard, so credit to ESO for still trying to fix it instead of just saying "OK, this aint working, so we just offer small scale PvP..."

I know alot of people here think that there is a switch "Turn PvP Lag on/Off" at ZOS headquaters and the only reason they dont flip it is because they dont wnat to, but for everyone who understands how hard it is to actually manage such massive PvP Areas, its clear that ZOS really deserves credit for still trying to make it work...

Ah, right. I am glad to see an explanation of where this lag is occurring, because I play in afternoon/evenings on PvE and wasn't seeing a problem.

ZoS is a small indie studio with limited assets. I fully understand that they can't upgrade the servers. Here, I am going to spend 5k crowns on Skyshards because they need that money.

I can't even play primetime. Lag is the worst I have ever seen it. I landed 3 attacks in a 5min fight, for the entire fight my character would just wave his weapons around in the air.

And when It's not prime time it's quiet and hard to find fights.

I get it. A company advertises/markets a sports car that tops out at 210, consumer buys and finds out it shuts down at 60...atleast they tried right?

If they did it easier with having preset builds with morphs, sets, and cp with a click of a button for free, pve players would go pvp more often. Atleast this would be the case for me. I simply don't wanna go an change morphs and cp manually just for a bit pvp, I rather stay pve build and log out.

Thats simplify too much. Cyrodiil at launch run very well with hundreds of people per faction on the same place, usually around a vamp dk emperor :D.

It was patch 1.3 or something like that that included lighting changes and server side anti cheat code that *** up cyrodiil forever. It was needed because cheatengine run rampant. Probably is a problem with no solution since would involve not only improving the servers (if that is even possible), probably change the game engine or the net code. I have no knowledge about that so probably we can't even know if its possible.

Play in no cp like battlegrouns, level another character... Whoever doesn't do pvp is because they don't want/like it, its not that complicated. You can remorph only the skills you want even, not like before that was allskills or nothing.

Anyway, the las thing pvp needs on EU is more people in primetime :D

Lightning changes in u1.3 where for in door settings.

Consider the amount of people at any given time in Cyro during launch Vs now. That's a more likely candidate as to why Cyro was better back then.

Actually there was more people, the caps have been reduced multiple times if my memory is right.

I didn't phrase that well. The performance hit was caused by the server side new code, but people remembers that time as the "lightning patch".

Im achievement hunter and want achievmeent on my mains so I want the ap gain on one char. And yes I do battleground sometimes, but I still need to remorph a bunch of skills and Im telling thats the reason I dont pvp always. If the reason is good enough for you or not, its still my reason and im pretty sure im not alone on that.

No. What they should do is actually try and communicate and fix bugs rather than pumping out broken content every 3 months. It’s quite annoying when people try to defend this company’s incompetence.
They’ve had the same bugs plague the game for over a year and have said nothing about it. You’d think a company with a semblance of competence would at least communicate with their customers and say what their planning to do. Nope

Yeah it kinda sucks that you either have to remorph everytime or gimp yourself, personally Im too lazy to swap everytime so I just run my PvE templar in a different build in PvP it works well and Im still useful in high MMR bgs but Im missing some Morphs and a better PvP Mundus which kinda sucks.

You do realise that the people who work on new content are not the same that work on servers/bugfixes?

Most of the people who work on new content cant help with the lag issue in Cyrodill the same way people who work on fixing bugs in the game would suck at creating a new overworld and storyline.

If the "game" is so dead who come that have get lvl up and rank up in PvP last few weeks honest they have grown a lot the fact is that more player now than last year in ESO but maybe many of them don't like PvP or the just want lvl up max lvl before then go PvP
