Also you can get cc-ed as soon as you land it, couldn't manage to reproduce it, but you can get CC in flight/just before you land. I'll let the tests for ZOS (:

Yep it looks like your leap "landed" while 20m in the air, after reaching the enemy on X/Y axis, but not Z axis, at which point the skill stopped, and you started falling (and hence took fall damage)0
