New Shield Breaker PvP Question ?

Hello,

I been getting mixed answers about the new Shield Breaker set.

Some say it's doing 3% in PvP, some say 6% ? Battlespirit never effected multipliers - im wondering why some people are saying this. Or if it's working as intended or bugged. If anybody knows that would be awesome to know.

The fact that Spriggans outperforms it in terms of damage really shows that the scaling is off. It's true that Spriggans gives 2k max stam, and 129 WD whereas Shield Breaker only gives 1k Stam and 129 WD however 3450 penetration only increases your damage by 5.2% whereas Shield Breaker is suppose to give 6%. With the different in max stam you'd expect the damage to even out, but Spriggans outdoes it by a large margin which doesn't make sense. So yeah the set isn't working correctly, but don't expect ZOS to do anything about it any time soon.

Because the people who say this are the potatoes who were crutching on the set and don't know even the basics of the game.

What are you talking about ? The set is a different set now, and who would be crutching on a set that only one dementional towards shields ? 😂

Potatoes were crutching on the set. They dont know how to play the game so they use whatever set can carry them. They dont necessary understand how the set works, but it works so they use it. Most of them didnt even know and still dont know what oblivion dmg is which was clearly evident when u were talking to them. Some thought it was reduced by battle spirit, others that it doesnt go through shields etc. The only thing they knew, is that it was killing anyone relying on shields so they were using it and actually thought they were playing good. So the set is changed now and those same clueless people are the ones running around telling how multipliers are getting reduced by battle spirit.

What they mean is common percentage misunderstading.

If you tooltip is 10k, it will be 10600 with the set.

On Cyro, this gets reduced to 5300.

So people Usually think, oh my dmg only increased by 300!, Thats 3% of the tooltip.

Wrong, 300 is 6% of the 5k you would do, the percentage remains the same.

I'm surprised they didn't just change it to eat shields. Kinda like how healing negation works. Except when you hit a light or heavy attack on an enemy you have a 25% change to destroy 3000 shield from an enemy ward.

This let's it have counter play while still keeping the original concept of the set intact.
