Repeated disconnects

So this morning all was fine, then I try to log on this afternoon and I am either getting the "an error occurred, try again later" message or just flat out disconnected. I can't stay in the game more than 10 seconds. Like I said everything was fine until this afternoon, haven't had this issue before. Any advice?

First, restart your modem/routers and your PC. If that does not rectify it then call your internet service provider and mention you are having connection issues. It is possible to have connection issues and not have it show in an internet speed test.

For me when I had repeated disconnects I connected to a TS server, which has a very high threshold compared to ESO. I could see the frequent disconnects. When my service provider told me their test did not show any issues and I explained I was getting disconnected from TS so often showing there was a problem they sent a tech out.

That tech found issues with the digital structure of my pipeline which does not show up in speed tests unless it happens to collapse during the test. They did find some others issues but that was what was causing my frequent DCs.

Sorry about the long story but just explaining the issues is sometimes deeper than normal tests.

YW. Restarting your modem and PC when you are having connection issues is the first step.

If you have issues with the client itself (the game) restarted the PC is often helpful. Had a friend who's client kept crashing after we had a patch. He balked at the idea that restarting his PC would help but tried it and everything was fine after that.

Technician for my service provider is here right now trying to find out what issues I am having now. lol
