It can suck for sure. Just be thankful you can transmute now.

Signed, someone still farming for a VMA inferno staff.

I get that, but what's the point of transmuting if you can't even obtain what you're looking for lol

It artificially adds "goals" to keep you engaged in playing, thus increasing ZoS revnue. Its a system MMOs use to make sure players are always chasing something so that they feel they have a reason to play.

Seriously tho, ESO is a persistent world game. Players aren't meant to get everything they want or need in a day. It's bad enough you can kill one mob and level a skill to tier morph-able? Now you want all the good loots in a few dungeon speed runs. Yeah nah. Not a fan.

Friend i understand and im sorry for your rage.

But ZoS didnt invent rng. RNG created itself. They also didnt create the people your playing with that dont talk. They put out all the tools for everyone to work together ans made surr everyone gets something so that the rng is at thr very least in your favour as much as it could be.

Blaming a game for 'being unlucky' just seems unfair.

The only thing i could think of is something like "At end if a dungeon, an npc appears (one of the undaunted) and gived you a deal.

    For an ingame fee:
    1. You can fight a boss in the dungeon again to try and get extra loot.
    2. You can reroll some, or all, of the loot.

Youd still have to grind and if you rrreeaallly want to nincrease your chances you can pay up a bit or do some extra legwork

Go find a group or guild that helps you farm your item and you'll have it in no time.

And 16 times is really not that much. I remember running vWGT over a hundred times to get the Kena helmet back in the days. That was bad RNG in comparison with today.

So you ran it a 100 in a row?

No, splitted over a couple of days. But we did 20+ runs in a row if that is what you are asking. It really doesn't matter, all I am trying to say is, that the game improved a lot RNG wise.

I get your anger but you have to understand that some items are more hard to get then others and if you would get everything first try the game would be boring and dead I think.

So like I said before, try to find a group or guild and you have your stuff way faster ;)

RNG is trash, running a dungeon 16 times in a row on vet and normal, and still not obtaining the item you need is ridiculous, that's not a grind at all. RNG in this game is terrible, and on top of that half the time the random group your in won't respond to you on such items your farming for. And trying to find a group that you know willing to help out sucks as well. Sorry I had to rant, because doing this takes away from all other aspects of the game.

Guildies or friends = more successful farming. Good luck :)

16 times is really not that much though
Yes, people are more willing to share in guilds.

And yes some sets are hard to get, remember farming for Spell power cure. over 50 runs and no restoration staff and no jewelry. Ended up spending an million on key fragments.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

id like to see smart drops tbh. It makes sense, you get things for doing the content on your the character your learning to play.

Like for example i have 2 vma 2h for my stam sorc. I have NEVER ran any hard content on my stam sorc. I have 0 clue how to play it. Its a farmer, I gather resources on it. Even without having a clue on its rotation, barely hitting like 10k (Its fuly spec'd for farming), i have one of the best pvp weapons for it. Without doing anything to progress on that character.

You can get things to improve builds you have never worked to progress and master and you can get screwed out of getting things for characters you spend all your time on working to progress.

Be patient. RNG is RNG. I had to run Malatar probably 30 times before I got all needed pieces of the Frozen Watcher set for my fun tank build.

But then I got three IA gold jewelery pieces, lightning and inferno staves after only 3 vet trial runs (I had to ask for lightning staff tho). I think it was pretty quick grind.

I've probably run City of Ash 1 & 2 well over 200 times and have never found a Inferno burning spellweaver staff, have literally every other staff type though.. then when a guildie decided to farm the set I helped out and it dropped within 2-3 runs and he got it.

    RNG is a cruel *****. :(

Nobody said I wanted the drop within one RUN! When someone has to run a dungeon 20 times in a row, and not recieve the item they're looking for it becomes a nuisance.
