I always wanted to do this and never have, but trying to do it with my new Necromancer character. So if I see a Skyshard or light from it, I ignore it. I am going to try and role play more my character a bit. Right now, I am alive. So unless I die while gaming or take the quest that leads us to the benefactor and I die during that story line, then I collect shyshards.
After all, isn't the skyshards suppose to be part of our soul? Just making sure if that is the case. If I am wrong, what do the skyshards represent?
Also like to know if anyone else does this? If not, what role play rituals do you do? My only role playing ritual I do is, if I see a Nirnroot plant, I kneel and pray before picking it up. I pretend it's a plant that is part of Nirn its self, so praying to the deities, mother planet, what not before taking it. One other thing I always do is when I make a new character, I go to the Gold Coast real early after I learn how to craft. I do the quest to start the Dark Brotherhood, so I can get the Blade of Woe skill. This way, for me, it adds immersion that I can "knock out" instead of kill people if I so choose to. After all, the "knocked out people" always come back to life. S easier for me, to see the game that way unless I think it's an actual assassination.
Another thing I started was, while I still do and take stuff from urns (felt bad but they always seem to replenish) is I pray and honour for what I am taking/stealing. After all, it's not doing the dead any good, but can be used to help the living.
Doing these few things, made me enjoy ESO even more now. Would like to see what everyone else does and maybe I can start them as well.
Not my quote but I love this saying
"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
