Return of the Grand Psyjic Villa

Seeing as lots of last year items return in various events I'd sure be glad to see Psyjic Villa to return in some way in Q3. Anyone with me?

I hope new people get the chance to buy or win it again this year. Yes it has its faults (huge and needs more slots) but it is beautiful and you can do so much with it.

Since Summerset is a DLC now, I'm guessing that they will start doing a 'Summerset celebration event' just like they did with other DLCs (TG & DB, Orsinium, Morrowind, CWC events, etc). Similarly to those returning thematic crown store items, I expect they'll add Summerset themed crown store stuff - like make the Colossal Aldmeri Grotto or Razumdar's outfit purchasable again.

Not sure how they will handle the Grand Psijic Villa, since they gave it away for free and it has never been in the Crown Store, but it would be quite a waste if they didn't bring it back at some point. Maybe a 'log in during this time period' thing again?

I sure do hope they do that. Hence this topic. It's still time for them to implement this if they're not planning it already so I wanted to show there's a demand fur such a thing.

I'm not in the market for large homes yet so I never checked the crown store or the collections tab for this one, but currently only people who got it free have it? And nobody else can get it by any means? It's a great house even if you can't fully furnish it. That's effed up that nobody can buy it.

I have to disagree. I'm glad it was free and I hope it stays free, I just wish it would return just like other event rewards. I missed the window of opportunity on that one and I've been regretting it ever since.

They might make it a one-day reward per year on the anniversary of Summerset.

Agreed, I never understood the 'limited time' mentality that ZOS seem to have, so I hope the GPV will return just like other houses they've been bringing back occasionally. This whole 'one chance, or you'll miss out' 'limited time only' sales pitch causes way more frustration than its worth, in my opinion.

Sure, some people may purchase something they don't actually need, only because that unnecessary item was 'limited time only'. But I don't think that number is anywhere close to the number of people who would love to buy lots of things they'd like, if the items were available for purchase. So it's more harmful than beneficial.

And sure some people may feel good about having an 'exclusive' sale item that only a few others have (if such a thing exists at all, I never understood how someone could be happy for an item for the sole reason that nobody else has it). But again, I don't think that this outweights the feelings of bitterness and disappointment of barring people from purchasing items they want simply because they missed a 4-day window when the item was available.

The Villa in the Crown store? no thanks. It was a unique event and I hope it stays this way.

Would be happy about this.

I got the Villa via the event, but I would have no issue with it also being made available, to newer/returning players, some other way.

I wish I could give you mine, I was so excited when I got mine, I even dismantled my wonderful work with strident springs to have furnishings for the villa but no matter what I do, the place is so gigantic and unless I'm willing to sink $400 into I don't think I'll ever get it to the way I would want it.

Now I'm looking at other notable homes to outfit.

I had quite fun with furnishing the inn rooms lately. It's a different challenge since you only have 30 spaces.
