Dragon icons on map - explain?

Hey, just wondering if anyone knows/can explain why there are 2 types of dragon icons on the elsweyr map when the dragons spawn?
If you've played it and paid attention you'll know what i mean - i forgot to take a screenshot though
but there's always one detailed dragon icon and two basic ones that aren't filled in

Is it referencing anything or what?

EDITED TO ADD: not talking about the swords! i know that the swords mean it’s in combat. I mean the actual dragon head - there are two kinds, one is detailed and one is just solid white. even when not in combat. sooo.. anyone?

Ok this isn’t my screenshot (i’m on my phone atm ready to sleep lmao), but it shows what i mean.. and it’s not related to the swords, because earlier when i was playing, the two white dragon heads had swords because they were under attack too, and the actual dragon head didn’t become more detailed
The more detailed dragon head in question is to the bottom right.

looks to be a sort of super boss enemy, maybe its a much harder draggo?

The detailed one means it's half way to nearly dead, I think. It's what I've noticed, anyways.

It does not seem more detailed to me, just "cracked". It might mean it's close to defeat.

The solid white dragon icon will turn into a cracked/damaged icon as the dragon gets closer to being defeated.

    This is your answer.

One is for a alive dragon that can be fought or is in a fight, the other is for a dead dragon and/or spawn point.

    This.

If it does not have swords and is moving it is still flying. If it does not have swords and is not moving it has landed but players have not started attacking them yet.

possibly :) i haven’t fought them enough yet to know... but small details like this intrigue me, so i was wondering if anyone knew for sure. it’s not like the dragons are named either, but it must mean something

There is no dead dragon icon.
    2 tipes of icons
Dragon icon = idle dragon / it may moves if is a fresh spawn moving before its land
Dragon icon with 4 swords around= dragon whos already engaged by players

What addon is that which shows those numbers on Elseeyr map? What do those numbers mean?

Anyway i agree with the Dragon icons. If the Dragon is moving it means it's flying and hasn't been aggroed yet or it may have landed but is not engaged in combat and the sword icon means Dragon is in combat so players are fighting it. Just agrreeing with everyone here really.

That's not an addon. The screenshot comes from Alcast's site. It looks like he is marking the mural-mender locations for a guide.
