✭✭Racial status immunity applies ONLY to statuses procced randomly via elemental damage (eg. getting hit by a DK whip).
They are not meant to protect you from sources that force-proc the status. Eg. Burning Spellweave, Elemental Weapon.

✭Didn't think about that - it could probably have been burning spell weave or somethings similar.
But I've never seen "burning" on my dark elf death recap before prior to last patch, and I must have been fighting players with e.g. burning spell weave in previous patches.- The Psijic Order
