Odd FPS drops whenever leveling and searching

So, after the whole Elsweyr update that happened, I've been getting an odd FPS drop whenever I level up (throughout the entire animation & 10seconds after), and whenever I search through things (chests, end-tables, even looting bodies)
I'm curious on what the issue could be. My FPS is pretty normal during other effects, even in the midst of many others doing their spells/effects. It's just whenever those two events happen, it drops considerably.
Any ideas?
P.S : I've already went ahead and triple checked settings (in-game, out of game, etc.) as well as a complete reinstall with no luck.
