Magic damage proc sets for stamina characters?

I'm wondering how this works. Thinking about sets like red mountain or stormfist that seem popular among Stam chars. Wouldn't you want a proc set that would be affected by your champion points?

They work fine in battlegrounds but I wouldn't bother with them in CP-enabled content.

Stormfist is a bit of an exception for PvE DPS because it has a physical component and still gets boosted by multiple CP stars. The 1pc is also stam regen which obviously benefits you as a stam toon.
