They seem to be, according to one of the guild a GM account, in Rimmen. I wonder now how many will go back to Rawl next week, and how long it'll be until someone yells this was all for show.

They'll get a bunch of money in anyway, after all. There you go.

Nope, these weren't available until the update and new area this this morning. All this guy did was give these traders an even better spot for expansion week.

They managed to snag the Rimmen traders by pulling an all nighter because surprise, the main trade guild GMs actually put a lot of work in running their guild and making sure they have a good spot for their members.

Anyway, it *is* hilarious that this guy burned a ton of gold on making a useless statement in a week where backups were actually available that may very well turn out to be *more* profitable than the usual spots might have been. Well done!

Can someone "out of the loop" explain this to me.

Did someone outbid the Rawl guilds with dummy guilds and then they went and grabbed the spots in the new Zone. Is that whar happened?

No GMs or guilds that I know of are “worried” about any of that stuff. They’ve moved on, and actually had planned for a stunt like this.

What’s funny, is that if some group of guilds wanted to make a financial impact or statement, they would’ve done it a month ago... and not the day before a DLC launch. lol

Absolutely no one cares. No one is going to shop or sell this week, anyway. Seripud trade guilds knew that.

If anything, it makes this “riot” group look like complete [snip]. 😂

Not really all they did was create more distraught by not letting the other 1,950 players being able to sell anything for this week to the general public pretty petty if you ask me when there is so few limited decent areas to even sell to the general public in this game system

Guys, it wasn't planned, it was really a situation of some dedicated troll (or group of) doing it to make some sort of statement about cartels and the GMs running to Rimmen asap to get a backup. It wouldn't have made sense to do that as some sort of publicity stunt, especially not when an xpac with tons of new stuff just dropped (and actually, early adopters do shop around this time and pay premium. idk why, but they do: source, me being able to sell new things for three times as much as they were worth two to three weeks earlier for both of the last chapters).

Looked like a very creative buthurt individual to me. Talk about dedication... Blood pressure thru the roof!

Still funny though, considering they also failed miserably after having succeed for such a brief period.

Someone made 5 guilds (and even named them aptly) and took over all 5 traders in Rawl'kha and the only items listed at each trader are 30 of the same base material for 50k each.

Instead of the usual suspects, they've been replaced with guilds called Treachery, Overthrow, Infiltration, Repudiate, and Sabotaged.

Going clockwise from the shrine, the guilds (and the items on the guild traders that are for sale - Ruby for Repudiate, Isinglass for Infiltration, Obsidian for Overthrow, Ta for Treachery, and Starmetal for Sabotaged) spell out "Riots"

Ikr? Of the one week to pull this, it's one where backups are available. That was. I guess they didn't count on the Rawl guilds actually having GMs that would just stay up all night if necessary? But in that case they really failed to do their research on the targets of their so called statement :'D

Actually for bidding a GM can give others base on rank in guild permissions to bid. So it may been officers of guild online.

F**k, that's amazing. I guess the fact that they then scored back up traders that went live a day later just makes it more funny.

Why go to a cash locked area when you can be in the best base game area, where everyone already knows about your guild? Meh... Choosing to move without being pressured out would be too dumb of a move for guilds like these. They are not amateurs.

I think it's hilarious. I love seeing the cartel i mean the top few trading guilds get screwed over. Sick of their monopolies anyway. Just proof how this games guild store system sucks.

If I was a very rich person. I would create 5 trade guilds and just keep buying millions and millions of gold. Then keep buying out their trade spots and let anyone join them with very low requirements that's very easy to for fill to stay in the guilds.
