Mi inbox keeps getting full at lower email count

Hello everyone first of all
playing on windows
so my inbox keeps getting smaller and smaller it started at 66 mails now im down to 19 and inbox full it is making collecting rewards form dayly quests and things bought on the shop a pain.
The thing is i do not know if it is the number of read mails that makes the limit go lower and lower, or what but every time i check the mail and try to delete some mails next time the limit is lower i do not know if am doing something wrong.
