Could that be a sensible business move right now to allow time to fix servers? There would be a backlash but it just might be less than going ahead with the plan.

Updates typically carry a number of 'server fixes'. That is the nature of Updates.

The content is complete. What is gained by not releasing it (and the related fixes?)

They should just close the servers altogether. Flip the switch to off and walk out right?

Yeah let's delay the new release the day before release so they can fix the PVP servers that have been broken for years. Seems like a solid plan!

I think that would be the opposite of a sensible business move.

I think this because the game will be released tonight, and to suddenly delay it without notice would *** everyone off.

But not a single ounce of love for the forums?

After all this is another clutter thread on server stability ... thinly veiled as an honorable "better for the game" idea.

Ummmm no. This update will "fix" certain server problems. Why dont we wait and see what it fixes before you say to postpone it.

You look for the 'fixes' the update brings to the table.

Others will be looking to see what it breaks.

Then we'll compare the two sides and decide what it all means in the grand scheme.

Either way it all shakes out, aint nobody gonna know where we'll be this time tomorrow until this time tomorrow....

Fair point and thank you for a moment to reflect. These forums are a cesspit of fear and uncertainty and now I understand how they are feeding my fears.

My fears don't care what they're fed, as long as it has whipped cream and sprinkles on top.
