You can't run vampire in medium armor, it has been that way for a while now:) I mean I survive just fine on stamblade in medium armor, I take multiple dawnbreakers at a time sometimes and am just fine. I rarely even cloak becuase of how unreliable it is, just have to know the ins and outs os stamina nightblade.

You are dealing high burst damage with low survivability, its how the nb class is built. Either get better with your dodges or pick up extra health glyphs on your gear. You can also get shuffle, blade cloak in your bar and also increase your total health with attribute changes.

I know how to do it. Make sure you have a bow for the dodge roll passive of major expedition. Next I use fortified brass 5 medium 2 heavy. Reactive set, chest legs and jewelry or weapons and bloodspawn. On this particular build I run swift and potion cool down enchants on Argonian. Immense speed, most enemies will be looking for you and you'll already be well gone just watching them waste their time lol. This build is a vampire and not even an emperor db can kill him. My bad didn't know I already posted. Oh yeah he kills stuff. I can solo resources one of two ways, I either snipe down the mage guard then systematically target down each mender then the honor guard right from where the mage guard was or I just siege it down and they're dead in 3 to 4 hits from the meatbag. One could easily drop the potion cool down enchants and be around 3000 wpn dmg. He has around 2k like this. Not terrible and no he isnt bursting anyone down. I have an orc NB for that, 6200 wpn dmg. This build was created when our alliance pretty much quit after the Summerset ruining of PvP. So I had to create a build to go deep into enemy territory and can't be bursted down by anything. He can get out of damn near anything. Also a great build for a team that needs a blade to always survive for camp purposes should the rest of the team wipe. A lot of fun but purpose driven.

It sounds like you've made some build/character decisions that don't play the way you want to play--there's plenty of people playing tanky brawler stamblades who aren't vampires--the class may appeal to those wanting to play . If you build a sneaky glass cannon vamp, don't be suprised when you get shattered by a high damage anti-vamp ult.
