Is Elsweyr still part of Daedric War or totally new arc?

Those who played pts, any sign of daedric prince? Or this is Dragon Age...I means new arc?

I think any information considering the story is kept under (strict) NDA.

According to marketing, We're in the Season of the Dragon. The Daedric Wars are so last year (Morrowind, Clockwork City, Summerset).

Think this is going to be going dragon-side for a while now, maybe with some minor daedra interference thrown in for some spice, but other than that, looks to me like a turning point.
Life is a ride, like days in a train, cities rush by, like ghosts in the night.
The rhythm of wheels, time fades away, stations of a journey, destination unknown.

We know from spoilers / prologue that Abnar's motivation is to end the alliance war and he thinks the tablets will lead him to a weapon / power that will do so. It may actually be related to the Planemeld story. Cold Harbor was about stopping Molag, Elsweyr may be about ending the war he started, or it could just be Abnar's desire to end the war creates a totally different story arc and we now have a new story about cleaning up Abnars mess.

I have not played the PTS, purely speculation.

TBH I'd like to see a conclusion to both Alliance war / Daedric war stories. Ie it was the Daedric princes that put Abnars sister on the throne (no idea, she may not have gotten help and may just naturally be a ***), and Abnar somehow finds a way to end the alliance war. Not literally, obviously the PVP'er didn't get the memo.

Still hope for PVE version of Cyrodiil

It would be a different instance and not replace PvP cyrodil. I don't see the problem

The Daedric War ended in Summerset.
The Daedric alliance between the Three princes was broken and they made a new deal with Sotha Sil that they wouldn't try to pull this off again for some time.

However I do have a feeling that Peryite will be involved in the future seeing that he is related to Alkosh

I get a feeling Meridia (and maybe Azura) will be at odds over something at some point. The way Summerset ends certainly makes it seem like Meridia is up to something. Having Azura involved would make for a fun Daedric cat fight.

You would be disappointed, Cyro is just a couple of Memento quests and dailies.

I know some people don't want to see account syncing but I'd more than happy for Cyro PVE stuff, shards, lorebooks, even PVE achievements to be account wide so tourists / pve'ers only need to go there once and only return to Cyro to actually PVP or participate in an event.

Won't happen though now that ZOS decided to sell that. Would have been a great way to reduce lag if they just account sync'd it. Players in zone would be there to PVP, population would be reduced, and the population would be there to actually PVP, lag would be reduced, but no.

I haven’t played the PTS, but Summerset was advertised as the final part of the daedric war storyline. And in the latest official news article about dragons they specifically hint that we’ll be seeing more new varieties of dragons added to the game AFTER Elsweyr is released. Presumably hinting at Q3 and Q4 updates there, but who knows, maybe it’s a story that will continue into 2020’s Chapter?

“Even throughout the rest of the year beyond the Elsweyr Chapter, you’ll continue to encounter new Dragons!”

I don't get it, what pve people want from Cyrodill?
Is just an empty space with probably the most boring quest of the entire game.
    You want the skyshards?
You want an Oblivion remember moment?
Still, without pvp Cyro is the worst place of the game nothing to do there other than fighting...

    No thanks.

I mean, I know that some would like that, so they can finally farm all those dwelves, dailies and skyshards without getting ganked...
...but it would be just plain wrong. And I say that as fellow PvE-questing lover and "sucks at the PvPness" cannon fodder...

For one, you can do ALL that anyhow, just have to pick a time and campaign when your allaince is on top and the others bending under their might. And sneak a lot. And maybe join the occasional warband. And yes, indeed, getting ganked every now and then! Not like that stops you, you just pop back, and quest in a different corner of the map for a while. So what it it may take you quite a while to clear everything? If you may have to spend several days for incursions into enemy territory, and take your time due to having to avoid enemy gankers? it -IS- doable!

For another, then the PvPlayers would have a pretext to ask for PvP in all other regions as well. Hey, it'd just be fair, righ? And a huge mess.

And finally... why should they set aside server resources just for people who wish to bypass the PvP without any extra profit for their side??? What does ZOS stand to gain?
