ESO changed my house property size

CivilDisobedienceVII
My main house has a path between the tower and the house that is now barely a path. It used to be wider with shrubbery and landscaping. Now it's a narrow path of two buildings shoved together. Why would they do that? Actually, the whole property is smaller. Things are much closer together than they were. There was no need to do that.

I find this a little hard to believe. They seem so reluctant to make any changes to housing layout. None. What place are we talking about?

    They changed houses before,
    removing stones, plants etc.
    Example:

Maybe to fight lag, or their SSD is reaching its threshold.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I always thought that this was what started the No Changes policy for houses, like the unpopular outfit appearance change that started the No Changes policy for gear and costumes. They will fix what they consider to be bugs, but beyond that, they seem reluctant.

Forsaken stronghold in Bangkori. The side where the tower is has a lot less room now. The wall of rocks is much closer to the tower and the distance between the tower and house is like a thin alley, looks like trash now. It used to have some more space. It also looks like the space between the house and the rock wall on the right side of the property when you face the house was trimmed as well. But that is tolerable. The path being so small between the tower and house and the closeness of the left side of the property is not.

I understand trimming it down a little for whatever reason they might have but when it is shockingly noticeable, that's really not. It looked better before. Now it looks off and even the houses don't look like they are sitting on the property right on the left side. Whoever did it did a *** job.

If you really believe this to be true, contact ZOS customer support to get a refund of your money and invest in a new house. If you're lucky, you'll get the reimbursement. If not, at least you tried and you can come back here to bash some more.

If I ask for a refund I have to find another house and waste time decorating it. I can't use summerset house as my main house because I am a GM and I'm not sure if guildies would be able to access it if they don't have summerset. Sigh

I believe they could still enter it through ‘visit primary residence’ but if they take the portal out they would teleport to their last position. Someone correct me if I am wrong?

No you are right. You can visit any house that is open to you, even if it is located in a DLC or chapter you do not own.

Nothing has changed. I have that house since day 1, it's FULLY decorated, and I can assure you NOTHING has changed. Size of house, tower and corridors are the same, and also space inside the tower, as I have it decorated and everything maintains sizes and distances as normal.

space between tower and house had definitely changed as has space between tower and rock wall to the left. I know because I decorated there and there used to be more room. Had moved some things but couldn't decorate there if I wanted to now. Also had that house since day one. Stop acting like you are so certain. Clearly you don't know because I know what was there before, and it would not fit now.

Can you post some screenshots of what has changed? It's very difficult for people to see what is wrong without them. You may receive more support for your case if you do, because people with older screenshots might join the thread and realize their houses have been changed as well. I find this topic very concerning because I don't want this to happen to any of my houses, but I feel like people aren't taking you seriously without the visual evidence because they aren't remembering how it used to look.

Unfortunately I've never owned the house so I can't be of help, but I'd like to support you because I know how frustrating this kind of thing can be.

They added some invisible walls to Forksaken Stronghold over a year ago that blocked previously accessible areas. After that I switched my primary residence, so I haven’t been paying much attention to that house. It would not surprise me at all if other things had been changed, very annoying that they do this nonsense.

If you really want to prove it just find one of the old videos on YouTube where people were showing all the houses when they first released. Then compare that with your current screenshots or videos.

I'm 100% certain that the corridor and tower size haven't changed.
