Make up your mind - game is so confusing...

Ball of Lightning can absorb a Meteor but all other skills that reflect/absorb cannot?

No this is not a "Nerf Sorc" thread.

Its a Nerf Sorc thread lol

I'd love to see some testing, do you mean if I cast it on you and you have the ring's around you when you Streak it will hit that or if you Streak then I try to meteor you but hits the ball instead

Meteor used to be reflectable but it became pretty absurd in PvP when you could ping-pong a meteor back and forward between each other.

Played a TDM in BGs - the Sorc used Ball of Lightning on a bridge as I casted my Meteor and the ball absorbed it instead of it hitting the Sorc.

This is apparently now a "Nerf Sorc" thread lol.

I didn't know Ball of Lightning was exclusive to Stamsorc lol.

Can't even ask a question before people think you are trying to nerf something. It's a topic about inconsistency.

Is it a trend for Mag Sorcs to use stamsorc to defend their OPness?

How many magsorcs actually use the BoL morph though? Y'all really gonna pretend that BoL is a popular magsorc skill when Streak has way more utility and offensive potential?

Out of all the magsorc nerfs to advocate, this is probably the least relevant one in the context of magsorcs currently overperforming in PvP.

If it is absorbed it shouldn't be.

I.e. Wardens Crystal slabs do not reduce the damage.

This would be the only ability that considers meteor a projectile still and would assume it's a bug

Just to comment on that sentence: the thing is BoL is one of the few class skills stamsorcs can actually use. If you nerf it, guess who takes the bigger hit to their class kit: pet sorc, non pet mag sorc or stam sorc?

Meteor is a projectile noob check - can you block a highly telegraphed and delayed burst attack in the midst of battle? No? Ok, you get a loading screen back to your fort.

I'd be okay with that since this is now a Nerf Sorc thread and they all count.

It isn't about nerfing sorc, it is about making the mechanics consistent and sensible. I've never thought about it personally, but it should definitely either count as a projectile or not, or have an reason for why there should be an exception in a specific situation.
